Our Story

Misha Polonsky (they/them), an East Coast-based, non-binary artist and founder of Projection Playhouse, spent over a decade creating motion design for big sports and internet companies. Their work has been seen on social, TV, the Super Bowl, and billboards all across the country. Fast forward to 2025, when the universe decided they needed to move states and focus their talent and energy on work that is most authentic to them – their true passion, theatre.

After seeing a friend in a production that featured beautiful, animated projections, they knew right away that was exactly the kind of magic they were meant to create. And so Projection Playhouse was born.
